Fab food and warm drinks. Separate room with better standard, plenty of lights, very comfortable bed. Brilliant area, central location near the beach, across the road from the F1 circuit as well as the restaurant and bars.

Large room with a partial sea view. Great location as I was there for the weekend to race at Zandvoort and since it was just outside the circuit entrance it was perfect. Right by the beach too,
As a resident of a hotel I don't expect to pay to park my car in the hotel car park (unless it is in a large city centre perhaps) but the NH wanted 12.50 Euro per day so after the first night I left the car at the circuit and walked. If a hotel has a spa/leisure complex I expect to use that too as part of my room rate however the NH wanted 15 Euro to use the sauna/steam room.

There is usually a line in a check-in (although a few clerks are on the spot) but the hotel offers drinks and good quality snacks while one awaits in the line. The location is excellent: right next to the beach and in between the town and the beachclubs :-)
some of the staff might not always be as nice/kind as expected.

Check-in for very slow - over half-ahour

A good number of the area. Wonderful breakfast. Good bar.
Very steep stairs at the entrance to the hotel and narrow path for suitcases. In the reception area of the smell of sewage. Shabby corridors on the floors.

Very friendly staff providing good service. I have been coming to this hotel for many years and I find it an excellent alternative to staying in a hotel in a city center. With the beach "across the street" it is easy to go for a walk, or a jog.
To the best of my knowledge, it is not possible to reserve a parking place on the premises. When the lot is full (which often happens), guests are directed to a pay lot at a different location from the hotel.

good location but some room issues
The sea view from our twin room was magnificent. The room itself was spacious and provided enough hangers for our stay, often lacking in many hotels.

Location is incredible. We enjoyed the sea-view. Distance from the beach, quiet atmosphere . Staff is very friendly and willing to help. Another advantage was proximity to Zandvoort racing circuit.
Food at the breakfast could be better. The choice and quality of food was rather limited in comparison to nh hotel in Las Rozas de Madrid where I stayed in 2008.

Breakfast was reasonable. The gentleman(chef) on service at breakfast was very friendly and good with the children. The room size was good.
The hotel is tired and in need of a total refurbishment. Access is poor. The restaurant food is at best average. Service was OK. One of the lifts broke on Sunday morning causing chaos for the many guests. TV was very small. Kitchen units were falling apart. Furniture in the living room was not adequate for a supposedly 4 star hotel. Uncomfortable. the carpet was drab. The toilet was smelly on arrival. The entrance to the hotel was up a high flight of stairs with a tiny ramp in the middle. The restaurant with it's supposed "panoramic" views was on a floor too low to appreciate this.& many more items that are too numerous to list!

The breakfast was sensational, with a wide range of food. Standard twin room was ready when we arrived. The location was great and beautiful, and we could reach Zandvoort Beach by walking.

The location next to the beach and the seaview with the glass roof.
The furniture was old and well worn, the bathroom was out of date and had a feel of a hotel from the 1980s. You had to pre-pay for the mini bar to be filled, so it had an air of mistrust and was impersonal.

I enjoyed the spacious room with a beautiful view of the beach. The breakfast selection exceeded my expectations, with freshly baked pastries and high-quality organic juices. The staff were friendly and catered to all my needs promptly. The decor felt outdated and could use a refresh. The air conditioning struggled to cool the room adequately. There were issues with room service as well, like forgotten clean cups. Some upgrades would be beneficial, especially with the WiFi being rather slow at times.

We stayed at the hotel cos we were racing at Zandvoort, couldn't ask for a better location. Just what we needed given what we were there for.
It is a bit of a hike into town for the bars and restuarants.
